Merrill Operations Move to Medford
FrontLine® Bldg. Products Inc. has relocated its Merrill, WI manufacturing operations to the company’s Medford, WI facility.
The move follows the completion of Plant 2, a 45,000 square foot addition to the Medford facility. We broke ground on the project back in January, and the finished space now gives the Merrill team, previously located at 301 N. Foster St., a new home under one roof alongside the rest of the Medford operation.
All Merrill production and business operations now run out of Medford. Green Bay operations are not affected and continue as normal.
Bringing the two teams together combines Merrill’s experience with Medford’s expanded capacity and strengthens FrontLine’s ability to serve customers efficiently.

Visitors to frontlinebldg.com can now select “I’m a Homeowner” at the top of the page to access residential-specific resources on door frame cladding solutions. The new section covers new construction homes, remodeling projects, patio doors, and outswing doors, giving homeowners a clearer picture of how to protect and upgrade their home’s entry points.
The idea is to give homeowners the same straightforward, practical information our dealers and contractors already rely on, just written for their own projects.

It is available in primed wood or aluminum, giving builders and homeowners flexibility to match their project. With the new black option now on the color list, FrontLine customers have another way to get the look they want without giving up performance.
Bay’s 50-Year Anniversary
This year, The Bay Family of Companies is celebrating 50 years in business, and FrontLine has been a big part of that story.
Back in the 1970s, Arnold Schmidt took a leap of faith and purchased Bay Insulation Co., planting the seed for what would grow into The Bay Family of Companies. In 1979, his son Dan joined the business, carrying forward a family legacy built on hard work and a deep commitment to the building products industry.
What began as a single company has grown into a family of businesses built on that same spirit of innovation and partnership, and FrontLine® Bldg. Products Inc. has been proud to grow alongside it.
